Dear Parents, We are excited to have your child be a part of Out Of Order Youth Ministries at New Beginning Fellowship of the Assemblies of God, Howe, Texas. It is our prayer that you and your family will find great friends, make memories and grow closer to Jesus. We recognize that it is a child’s parents/guardians who have the ultimate responsibility before God for their teen’s spiritual development. The adult youth leaders seek to partner with families to give teens a safe, fun atmosphere to grow spiritually. As your partner we will need your help at times and will prayerfully consider your suggestions and comments. Participation in Youth Ministry events requires a signed permission slip (permission to participate, release of liability and authorization to receive medical care) and a signed teen contract. This is required for participation in general youth ministry events (including, but not limited to, regular youth ministry meetings, social activities, and fundraisers). For some activities throughout the year, such as concerts and off-site activities, we require additional documentation in addition to the permission slips (which will be handed out at youth meetings, made available on-line or mailed directly to the teens). The teen contract outlines the drug and alcohol policy and rules for New Beginning Fellowship/Out Of Order Youth Ministry. If any drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes are found in your teen’s possession at any youth ministry event, parents/guardians are responsible for immediately picking up their son or daughter. If a teen violates the Youth Ministry rules the teen will be suspended from youth ministry activities until the teen, parents/guardians meet with the New Beginning Fellowship/Out Of Order Youth Ministry adult leadership.
